While I have nothing personal against Whitehorse or its employees, I can’t help but notice there seems to be some difficulty in finding the time, or the staff to remove snow from metered parking areas in the downtown core (even several days after a heavy snowfall).
I also notice at the same time, drivers who courageously manage to drive over a foot, or more, of snow to get into a metered spot, and then get stuck, are ticketed within five minutes of their meter expiring.
I’m sure I’m not alone in seeing a bit of an irony in this.
