I see that the bureaucracy is at it again. Golden Predator and the Tr’ondek Hwech’in are at odds with the work of the Yukon Environmental and Socio-economic Assessment Board.

Good thing I do not depend on the company and First Nation for a paycheque. I might get one, or I might not.

When you have no “skin in the game,” or money invested, it appears you do not care.

But I have a solution. I do believe that the assessment board was brought in because of land claims. You, the Tr’ondek, have the power to get rid of this bureaucracy now that the gate is coming back to hit you.

On another note, I see that there are people who want the City of Whitehorse to be a no-fracking zone. To these people I say: You have no business telling the city what to do and not what to do.

I happen to believe in fracking. It may not be a perfect science, but just think back a few years. If Henry Ford had invented the automobile just recently, we would still be using the horse and buggy. You would be against it because it causes pollution.
