I wish to express my profound displeasure of our government spending $220 million on supporting an illegal neo-Nazi government in the Ukraine. How can you balance your support for Israel and your support for this repugnant regime change?
Russia’s agreement with Ukraine on the use of the naval base at Sevastopol allows it to protect its interests there. Where in the world did Europe, the U.S.A and others think that Russia would allow them to undertake and sponsor regime change in the Ukraine, putting a bunch of neo-Nazi thugs in charge of the majority, who want nothing to do with this illegal government in Kiev?
Russia will not allow the West to absorb Ukraine and have NATO missiles placed there. That is a non-starter. I don’t want to see any Canadians die over this or our government throw money they don’t have at this.
The U.S.-led NATO is risking war in this dangerous aggression in Eastern Europe. It must not be supported by our government.
If Kosovo can declare independence, so can Crimea. The hypocrisy is beyond belief.
