We would like to give our heartfelt thanks to everyone from Faro and the Yukon involved in the search for the two missing hunters.
Thank you to all those who organized or assisted with the search: the RCMP from Faro and Whitehorse, Faro Search and Rescue, the helicopter pilots, the government conservation office and all the search volunteers who dropped whatever else they were doing, including work. We know there were many more willing to go out on the search or offer support if needed. Thank you to the Faro Nursing Station, those who gave strength to the families while we waited, those who provided food, and to all the people who offered support, kind words and thoughts for their care and concern.
It is during a time like this that we realize how truly warm and supportive our community is and it renews our faith in the spirit of community.
