I wish to relay my most heartfelt thanks to the staff of the following venues:

Camp Yukon

Braeburn Lake Camp

Marsh Lake Camp

Pelly River Ranch

I have a son who has a number of challenges that he must face in his life (ADHD), but he is just the greatest little man in the world.

That said, for those of us who have children with some of these afflictions, we as parents also have our own hurdles.

Over the summer, my son attended the three summer camps and this was his first experience with such an activity. The fact that he was so happy when we picked him up was so fantastic for us as parents. As a child, I was always at summer camp and went to every one that was available. I later went on to be a junior and senior counsellor and activities co-ordinator and I value the experiences as some of the best in my life.

This was our first year using these opportunities.

When a child has ADHD, you must, as a parent, be the ‘third eye’ in their lives, and over time this can be truly exhausting.

To be able to have your child in an activity where he is well supervised and has the opportunity to meet new friends is a godsend. This gives the family respite while, at the same time, provides the challenges and thrills these children thrive on. Our son came home happy on every last day, but looked forward to the next camp.

I just wanted to thank all of the staff from all of these three camps and the organizers in general for the gift that they have given our family.

Further, we are also fortunate to be able to send our son to the Pelly River Ranch regularly and once again, we cannot thank the Bradley family enough for the support they give children.
