Farewell, Yukon

As I prepare to leave the place that I have called home for the past eight years, I would like to take the time to thank all of the people who have helped make my time here so special.

As I prepare to leave the place that I have called home for the past eight years, I would like to take the time to thank all of the people who have helped make my time here so special.

I would like to thank my friends who have helped me grow as a person, celebrate the good times and learn from difficult experiences.

I would like thank my swim coaches, ski coaches, shooting coaches and disc golf teachers for helping to make a quintessential urbanite a little more sporty leaving the territory than I was when I arrived.

Thank you to all the people who have seen fit to give me a job and help me grow professionally - Whitehorse Star, Yukon News, City of Whitehorse and the premier’s office. Never have I lived in such a place that provides so many opportunities to those who seek them.

As a downtown resident, I would also like to thank my current MLA for helping me feel so good about my decision to become a card-carrying Conservative.

Yukon is truly an amazing place and it will always hold a special place in my heart.
