I would like to address the problem that people have with road dust in the Taku Subdivision in Tagish.
Please do not complain to the Highways department. The road is dusty because the weather is hot and dry.
The Highways department will only have to bring out calcium chloride and water to spread over the roads.
The problem can be solved by keeping trees and natural bushes between the road and your home, putting up your own “Slow Down” signs and how about É driving slower!
What are the effects of dust? Dust. What are the effects of calcium chloride? Rusty vehicles, messed up plant growth, unhealthy puddle water and gravel for animals, and so on. You can have dust in your home É or calcium dust in your home.
Why would anyone chose calcium?
Slow down, and keep your tree-bush barriers.
