Active Trails Whitehorse Association would like to commend mayor and council for recognizing and honouring the 10th anniversary of the Rotary Centennial Bridge on Wednesday, July 15.

The Rotary Centennial Bridge and Millennium Trail foster many forms of active recreation in a peaceful setting along the Yukon River within the City of Whitehorse. The bridge and trail are well used and cherished by residents and visitors to our city.

Active Trails Whitehorse Association would also like to thank mayor and council for maintaining the non-motorized designation of the Rotary Centennial Bridge and Millennium Trail. The bridge and trail are very special to many people and it’s comforting to know that council responded favourably to widespread public support for the continuation of their respective non-motorized status.

Keith Lay,

President Active Trails
