I am writing to correct inaccuracies in articles by John Thompson: Panic Attack Halts Bizarre Divorce Trial, published September 16, and Wife On The Ropes In Bizarre Court Case published October 19.

I am a lawyer in this matter and was discussed in these articles. The articles falsely stated that I did not intend to file a closing submission with the court and that I had a less than professional decorum in court. The articles also attributed my legal arguments to the other lawyer in the case.

These statements were wrong. For example, I filed my closing submission at the beginning of the trial. I take these incorrect statements seriously.

I always strive to serve my clients in a professional and competent manner. Court proceedings are often complicated, and great care is required to accurately reflect them. Thank you.
