Last week I submitted my comments on peelconsultation.ca. The final screen I saw said that my feedback was submitted and I was thanked for my input. All sounds good. The government’s website promised that I would receive an email to confirm that the comments submitted were actually submitted by me.
After five days of waiting for this email, I contacted the Government of Yukon to ask about the email I expected to receive. They answered promptly and let me know that they did not receive any comments under my name.
I will definitely sit down once again and submit my feedback to the Government of Yukon. I hope this was the only glitch on the website. Still, I am concerned that there might be Yukoners submitting comments through the website that never reach the government.
If you took time and effort to give your input, please ensure the government received your feedback. Next time I write my feedback, I will make sure to also send it to all email addresses shown on the website.
