We are the Daklaweidi of the Carcross area.
We own our lands and waters and all the resources on the area of the map that was sent to all governments in 1984.
To this day, we have not received a response to the map and letter. This is why I am writing this letter, to protect the land for future generations of our people.
We are the only clan that can give up our title to this land and we will not.
