The Compassionate Friends of Canada is starting a Yukon chapter but is in desperate need of bereaved parents first to help get it going. We’re seeking both the newly bereaved and parents who have been on this painful journey to mentor a newer member.

Compassionate Friends is a group run by bereaved parents. I am hoping to open a sibling chapter for the Yukon, but I cannot do this alone.

If you have lost a child (my heart breaks for you) or know someone has and is willing to help, mentor, guide another parent or if you need it, please give me a call at 867-336-1416.

Please help me help our community. For more information on the organization see http://tcfcanada.net/

I am a bereaved parent as well and am willing to work with others who want to see a group like this in our community. The first meeting will be on Dec. 15 at 6:30 p.m. at 304 Hawkins Street.

Please help me spread the word.
