A Whitehorse man is facing a string of charges after a crash that sent a young woman to hospital.

A Whitehorse man is facing a string of charges after a crash that sent a young woman to hospital.

On June 26 at approximately 7 p.m. RCMP were called to a single vehicle crash on Long Lake Road.

A 25-year-old woman was taken by paramedics to Whitehorse General Hospital and later airlifted to Vancouver.

A four-year-old in the vehicle was unharmed, according to police.

Abraham Scott, 30, is facing one count of impaired driving causing bodily harm, one count of impaired driving with a blood alcohol level over 0.08, one count of obstructing a police officer and two counts of failing to comply with an undertaking.

The case is still being investigated.
