whats the history of this old crow cabin

Is it still standing and what time period was it built? Who lived there? About 15 to 17 years ago, the Vuntut Gwich'in brought myself, Chris Caldwell and Alan Edzerza to Old Crow for four days to teach school children something about our artwork.

Is it still standing and what time period was it built? Who lived there?

About 15 to 17 years ago, the Vuntut Gwich’in brought myself, Chris Caldwell and Alan Edzerza to Old Crow for four days to teach school children something about our artwork.

It was an interesting experience. I also took a few photographs, including the one above.

I remember it was Halloween, and we began working with the kids, drawing ghosts, witches and pumpkins, among other things.

Also, it was great meeting with friends up there in Old Crow again.

As I was leaving, my old friend Steven Frost gave me some caribou meat to bring home.
