Yes, the answer is the Pelly Farm. The farm people are friends of mine. I visit once in a while. It is a very interesting and unique place.
(An e-mail from Lynn Pearce, of Whitehorse, mentioned “the farm is owned by Hugh Bradley.”) I think some other family members own it also.

Re Yukon News Colourful Five Per Cent, Can You Identify? — An Old Farm (April 5):
It’s been a long time since I’ve been there.
I recognized the bluff “basalt,” the start of it that runs on the right limit of the Pelly River on down the Yukon River below Fort Selkirk for miles. Yes, it’s the Pelly Farm, near the mouth of the Pelly River.
Our family was raised at Pelly Crossing before it became a settlement, so we had to go by this farm on our way to Selkirk for supplies and mail.
Pete Olson and Chapman started the farm, then Chapman, with hired help, as I first remember.
Then our brother-in-law, Geo Fairclough, bought it. He and his brother ran it.
Our sister, May Fairclough, is in Macaulay Lodge. She turned 97 years old on Friday.
Well, anyway, they sold to Burt Wilkinson, wife, two sons and one daughter.
Now the Bradleys are the owners.
Note: There are vehicles there now because of a road up the Pelly to Pelly Crossing connecting with the Klondike Highway.
Our family never went by without stopping in for a visit.
