A six-year-old Whitehorse girl died after being thrown from a vehicle that rolled off highway 97 near Fort Nelson, BC, this weekend.

A six-year-old Whitehorse girl died after being thrown from a vehicle that rolled off highway 97 near Fort Nelson, BC, this weekend.

The vehicle’s driver was flown to University Hospital in Edmonton with critical injuries, according to a release from Fort Nelson RCMP.

The other three passengers were taken to Fort Nelson General Hospital with mild injuries. They were later released.

Fort Nelson’s traffic services and collision analyst are investigating.
