A 16-year-old youth is facing criminal charges in connection with a weekend house fire at the Takhini Trailer Court.
On Saturday, Whitehorse RCMP responded to the blaze and, working with fire department officials, determined it had been intentionally set.
The youth, whose name is protected under the Youth Criminal Justice Act, has been charged with intentionally or recklessly causing damage by fire to a dwelling, and has been arrested.
The Whitehorse RCMP continues its investigation into the incident.
