At this year’s solstice, I went to Keno with some friends. I had a very enjoyable time there, Mike Mancini and friends showed great hospitality and treated us well.
I love Mancini’s collection of signs and posters of all types in his cafe.
Also, the visit to the Keno Museum was very impressive. The displays are very well done.
In the evening, a group of us went up to Keno Hill, as it was solstice. The view was incredible, with many friendly people up there as well.
The view from Keno Hill is definitely beautiful and breathtaking, and on that particular night the cloud formations were making abstract patterns throughout the sky.
It was good to see Mancini, Leo Martel, Milos and everyone in Keno City and area.
A good time was had by all.
Also, thanks to Martel, who is restoring the Keno City Hotel, for giving us a tour of the building.
