A 69-year-old man was found dead Friday and police say they suspect foul play.
The body of Allan Donald Waugh was found inside a home on McCrimmon Crescent in the McIntyre subdivision around 7:30 a.m.
The RCMP has launched a criminal investigation but are releasing few details at this point.
Investigators say they believe there are people with information about what happened who haven’t come forward yet.
Police say there is no risk to the general public.
The last homicide in Yukon happened in August 2010.
The RCMP is holding a community meeting in cooperation with the Kwanlin Dun First Nation tonight.
