At one time he was recognized as one of the top hunting guides in the world.
His brochure advertised “guaranteed good food, good trophies and, above all, a good time.”
“We do not furnish women or liquor,” the brochure cautioned, “bring your own.”
Colourful, and a wonderful storyteller, he always proclaimed that love is the number one thing in the world.
He passed away years ago. Of course I know who he is. I interviewed him often, and took the above photo.
He is somebody I’ll never forget and he was a good friend.
