NOTE: Due to a layout glitch, the News is running Jim Robb’s column again.

At one time he was recognized as one of the top hunting guides in the world.

His brochure advertised “guaranteed good food, good trophies and, above all, a good time.”

“We do not furnish women or liquor,” the brochure cautioned, “bring your own.”

Colourful, and a wonderful storyteller, he always proclaimed that love is the number one thing in the world.

He passed away years ago. Of course I know who he is. I interviewed him often, and took the above photo.

He is somebody I’ll never forget and he was a good friend.

If you can identify him and can write a short comment, please write and share your knowledge.
